Wordpress 2.9.1 Release

wordpress 2.9.1 released

WordPress 2.9.1 has been released, and is now available for downloads. This release fixes several minor issues, and the bugs which caused problems with scheduling posts and pingbacks. Upgrade is not really necessary unless you are facing any of the issues listed here.

Another interesting fact shared by Ryan Boren is that WordPress 2.9 has already clocked a million downloads till date, now that is really good. You can download WordPress 2.9.1 from here or use the automatic upgrade feature to upgrade from the admin dashboard.

Motivate yourself to Blog!

These are articles I’ve read recently that I found particularly valuable. They are all from blogs I read regularly. As someone who writes a blog, I know it is also essential to read a lot of blogs. I get questions from professionals and business owners about how to get started blogging, and this is always one of the first things I say: read blogs!

This is the number one way to learn what works, what doesn’t and what YOU want to write about. I recommend anyone interested in blogging should spend a month or so just reading other blogs. Subscribe, comment, spend some real time. Do this specifically in the space you want to occupy. For example, if you want to write a blog about real estate in your particular market area, search people up and find out who’s already doing that. Subscribe to their blog, comment them, read plenty of articles. Take note of the design of their sites. Who is hosting these sites? What things do you like, dislike, and what can you improve upon?

Life Changes, Life Takes You to Places, something to reflect on

Daily life is unstoppable. Moreover, it is also unpredictable and fast changing. About a year and a half ago, I can never tell what my life would be during that period of time. At that time I was unemployed, finishing my thesis, and trying to do some freelance jobs just to survive. I thought that I’d simply finish my master degree and try my luck by going seriously at the freelance business market. I couldn’t think of working a full time job for a big company or even marriage. Mau aktif lagi disini

Setelah lama tak diurus. Karena memang kesibukan yang terlalu memaksa untuk menduakan blog ini dengan yan lain. Sekaligus setelah aku punya blog utama di http://www.mursid.web.id , setelah lama aku berpikir. Kenapa nggak aku manfaatin saja blog ini? kan sayang udah dikasih fasilitas gratis koq sia-sia..

Yaudah deh dengan postingan ini aku akan berniat mengaktifkan kembali blog kesayanganku ini yang sangat eksklusif dengan theme blog khusus buatku. Lha wong ada fotoku ndaa!

Aktivitas akhir-akhir ini yang membuatku mumet.  tak lain dan tak bukan adalah mengerjakan laporan magang.. Asyeem, marai ra iso turu tenan og..

kangen ngeblog disini

Lama gak posting disini semenjak perpindahan ke domain yang baru http://mursid.web.id. Aku sedikit kangen dengan ngeblog di layanan blogging yang disediakan oleh universitas tercinta ini. Ini bulan apa sih? Agustus yaa? Semester baru dan tahun ajaran baru sudah menanti di depan mata, sudah saatnya intospeksi soal kuliah lagi. Sampai semester 5 ini aku udah ngapain aja sih??

Jawaban tradisionalnya, udah bolos kuliah, udah remidi, uda semakin tua saja (tapi gak nyadar2), udah punya pacar (wew),dll. Sekedar santai aja.. Aku memang suka banget nulis dan ngeblog. Kedekatanku dengan dunia blogging telah menhantarkan aku berkenalan dengan para blogger dari Solo sampai luar kota dan blogger seleb ibukota. Whatever lah, yang penting aku enjoy jengjeng kesana kemari..

Banyak yang isa diambil manfaat dari pertemanan ini. Tapi banyak pula teman yang mencibir aktivitas ku di dunia blogging ini yang pada dasarnya mereka hanya sebagai facebooker saja tanpa tahu apa itu makna online produktif yang sebenarnya. Hah, mbuh lah sak karepmyuuu….
